2020 CREATE! Conference. creativity. technology. instruction.

Anthony Wayne Local Schools, an award winning educational technology program, and Bowling Green State University, are pleased to invite you to take part in the 2020 CREATE! Conference on June 4, 2020.

CREATE! was conceived to provide educators with an opportunity to explore and discover real-world, standards-based lessons that incorporate creativity, technology and 21st century skills. Lessons containing these characteristics result in engaging, inspiring, student-centered learning. Let our presenters show you how they are leading the evolution of teaching and learning in order to more effectively prepare our students for the 21st century and beyond.

NEW Keynote Format! We are excited to announce that this year’s keynote will feature a panel discussion presented by a number of accomplished project-based learning (PBL) and STEM educators from NW Ohio.  They will be answering questions directed to them by panel moderator, Dr. Jamie Hollinger, principal at Waterville Primary School. The panel consists of internationally recognized PBL expert Dr. Jodi Haney, Waterville Primary’s STEM integration specialist and Dean of Students Lori Williams, Anthony Wayne junior high’s FCCLA advisor KayLynne Schaller, STEM and technology integration specialist for Genoa Schools Christine Danhoff, and Laura Davis, a social studies teacher from Findlay City Schools with many years of exceptional STEM and PBL integration into her classroom instruction.
